Welcome to RG Carpentry & Construction Ltd, we are a carpentry-led business based in Chelmsford and working throughout Essex who specialise in high spec internal carpentry, we can project manage and install all aspects of internal carpentry, including but not limited to, wall panelling, internal doors, room divider and skirting / architrave.

Project Brief: Dividing The Living Room & The Games Room

Our client came to us after struggling to find a company who could cater to their requests, after failing with 3 other local companies who were put off by the unusual size opening and requirements.
We listened to their needs and provided several solutions.
The brief was straight forward, we were to supply and install an Oak room divider to separate the pool room and the living room when guests were round, but which also let light through from the French doors
Pre Planning: Sourcing What Others Couldn’t
Due to the existing opening being an unusual size we went away and began devising a plan, we reached out to our trusted suppliers and came up with several different solutions which matched the project brief but provided slightly different styles to choose from. We costed each option up and presented to our clients.
Client Liaison: Presenting Ideas & Working Together
With several solutions and costings to present we held another site meeting with our clients and showcased each choice explaining the differences which they were amazed we could do so quickly due to us being the first of 4 companies to be able to provide any solutions. Having gone through all the choices a decision was made and we were given the approval for the works
Installation: Providing Custom Solutions

Although not entirely straight forward due to being an unusual sized opening, with a well devised plan and past experience dealing with custom requests we were able to make on site adjustments which allowed the room divider to fit perfectly.
It was a full days install and we completed the doors with an Architrave we had sourced to match the rest of the property.
